Luminary Youth Track (LYT) is an exclusive program for dedicated actors aged 8-17 who want to develop their skills, understand the industry, refine their materials, and fine-tune their personal brand. It is a curated, boutique development experience that focuses on long-term growth, confidence, and readiness for real opportunities in the entertainment industry.
With its flexible approach, LYT is designed to support and enhance the training actors are already receiving, as well as complement existing agent representation.

LYT at Kent Collective is a collaborative commitment for both parent and child, as Creative Director and Coach, Elena Kent, works to develop both a nuanced actor who learns to understand script & story, as well as a sharpened work ethic and professionalism.
The Collective Experience

Weekly Zoom check-ins: These are 20 minute online meetings where we have the opportunity to discuss challenges, celebrate wins, and set goals.

Monthly TV/Film self-tape scene assignment with personalized feedback and redirects.

Workshops: Scheduled in-person workshops in Austin, Texas. Zoom links will also be available for out-of-town clients. We will often host guests who play a integral part in the industry. These are open to Luminary clients only.

Onboarding consultation: Upon signing, a 90-minute complimentary consultation session will be scheduled to review current materials, talk about attainable goals, and answer industry questions. For new actors, step-by-step help setting up Actors Access and Casting Networks.

Resources such as script sides, talent agencies, casting directors (and what they cast), headshot photographer suggestions, and educational programs available for continued study and education beyond The Kent Collaborative.

Progress Check-Ins: Every 3 months, the client and at least one parent will participate in a one-on-one meeting with Creative Director, Elena Kent. These meetings are also a time to evaluate continued participation in the program. We will discuss:

MY APPROACH
The work your child engages in while working with Luminary will follow them far beyond their youth acting career. We never know where life will take our children as they grow into adulthood. In my experience with young people, the methodology I bring to each student or project centers on process over product.
The very act of striving for excellence, whether through studying to become a stronger actor or developing organizational and communication skills, shapes a young person’s entire sense of self. This process supports growth in listening, problem-solving, collaboration, empathy, and respect for oneself and others.​

LYT REFUND POLICY
There are no refunds once a payment is made.
This program is designed to be selective and grounded in excellence that requires commitment from both parent and child. However, because we are focused on working in this industry, there may be an extenuating circumstance that conflicts with the TKC Luminary structure, booking a job, for example. In that case, we will work with you to create a supportive space where you can continue your child's experience in LYT and balance the project at hand. ​
Flexibility. We require a minimum 2-month commitment. Beyond that, the ball is in your court. However, this program is designed to be future-focused as we grow with you! We encourage ongoing training to ensure meaningful progress that follows each student, no matter where their career path takes them as an adult.

THE STANDARD
We hold high expectations for clients of the Luminary Youth Track. Consistent attendance, preparation, and engagement are key to success and the integrity of the program.​ Repeated missed check-ins, incomplete self-tape assignments, or a demonstrated lack of commitment or interest will result in dismissal from the program.​ Communication is key. Our goal is to create an environment where dedicated young actors can truly grow, and that requires mutual investment and consistency.​

Payments are made through our business office and will be invoiced based on your payment plan.
