$240 | Age 16 and up
This class encompasses all aspects of film acting from the subtle nuances to analyzing your script sides. We will also be taping scenes in class and working through obstacles that may arise in an audition sides such as physical violence, props, running, kissing the elusive "a single tear" direction.
Class Structure:
Classes will include taping scenes from relevant episodic television or film. You will receive script sides the week prior to class and come prepared to tape your scene(s). We will also have an out of class assignment. Be prepared to put in the time outside of class to create the most challenging and productive work! This is a collaborative class and will include discussion and warm ups.
Tuesdays, 10am-12pm

ABOUT THE CLASS
Imagination is the main ingredient in authentic storytelling. Visual art keeps the muscle active and challenges your mind differently from how we approach our regular jobs whether industry or basic daily tasks. As a professional artist and actor, I lean into taking risks, making mistakes, and embracing spontaneity. With only four students per session, our time together will include instruction and discussion among artists on how we are learning to apply visual art to performance art and storytelling.
