LEVEL 2- ON CAMERA

Work on self-tape/auditions, honing artistry in specificity; character goals, environment, pacing, scene analysis, and understanding the project. This is a great class for current working actors new to the industry, or for those searching for representation who are ready to work! At least some previous acting training required. (From another studio is totally cool.)
PROFESSIONAL ACTOR- ON CAMERA/ACTING STUDY

Work alongside other actors who are currently auditioning and working in the industry. The workout includes fine-tuning self-tape/auditions, honing artistry in specificity; character goals, environment, pacing, scene analysis, and understanding the project. This is a collaborative, small class where actors will share experiences as we practice, play, and learn from each other. We'll also spend some time working on acting exercises that focus on authenticity.

Imagination is the main ingredient in authentic storytelling. Visual art keeps the muscle active and challenges your mind differently from how we approach our regular jobs, whether in the industry or basic daily tasks. As a professional artist and actor, I lean into taking risks, making mistakes, and embracing spontaneity. With only four students per session, our time together will include instruction and discussion among artists on how we are learning to apply visual art to performance art and storytelling. Perfect for beginners and actors new to on-camera work. Whether you’re building a strong foundation or transitioning from theatre to film, this one-on-one format allows you to refine technique, strengthen on-camera presence, and develop the core skills essential for screen acting.
It’s also an excellent option for actors looking to elevate their self-tapes and serves as a prerequisite for Level 2 On-Camera classes.
In person is in Austin, Texas, at the Art Hub on I-35. Zoom is available for anyone, anywhere!

ACTING FOR BEGINNERS- A new fundamentals class for those interested in being a part of storytelling on camera or stage. We will focus on listening, authenticity, imagination, and simple approaches to a script that is simple and playful.
