ABOUT US
THEY
Kevin and Elena have been partners (married folk) for 29 years and together for 32. They met at Chuy's Hula Hut on Lake Austin working together in the restaurant industry. With a priority in developing and listening to client needs, Elena and Kevin look forward to serving the development of South Central Actors and squeezing in a little Longhorn football on the side.

HER
Elena’s talent lies in the artistry. Creative from a young age, she has been performing and creating for as long as she can remember. A University of Texas graduate, Elena followed her BFA with an acting career in television and commercials before settling in San Angelo, Texas with her husband, Kevin, where they raised their three children.
While in San Angelo, Elena founded Be Theatre, a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization where she served as Artistic Director for 11 years. During her leadership, Be Theatre became a hub for community connection, education, and innovation. She co-developed Literature Alive, bringing thousands of families to see free live theatre based on children's classics and giving away over 10,000 books. She also helped launch Shakespeare on the Concho (now titled Concho Shakespeare) providing free, public performances that still continue to this day. In addition, Elena and her team produced dozens of theatrical productions, led workshops and classes for youth, showcased original work in 24 Hour Theatre, helped create and lead an improv company, hosted local musicians, and raised money support Be Theatre, as well as donating back to the community. Many of the young artists Elena taught and employed have become artistic leaders who have gone on to build professional careers in the creative industry.

Elena has over 22 years of experience teaching, coaching, and directing. In 2024, Elena produced, wrote and directed GoodWill Short Film here in the Austin area. Early in her teaching career, she created the Youth Performance & Production Workshop at Angelo Civic Theatre, directing hundreds of students during her tenure. She has directed dozens of musical productions featuring youth and adults, and produced full theatre seasons overseeing all aspects of production.
Most recently, in Austin, she worked with academy students at ZACH Theatre and taught at the Carol Hickey Acting Studio, where she worked with kids and adult actors in scene study, on-camera technique, and professional preparation.

During her time back in Austin, Elena has been seen in lead and supporting roles in film, TV and commercials. She is represented commercially and theatrically in the South Central and Southeast markets.

HIM
His career began in the early 1980s during the golden era of Austin’s hospitality scene, where he worked with the iconic Chuy's Comida Deluxe. Over the years, Kevin advanced through roles in management, general management, and eventually co-ownership, gaining deep expertise in business development, operations, and project management. He later became a licensed real estate broker, further expanding his professional reach. Kevin is still actively working in real estate both in San Angelo and Austin, Texas.

For over 20 years, Kevin served as President of StudioStream, a national in-store radio platform co-designed for Sonic Drive-Ins. In addition to overseeing daily operations, he acted as the company’s chief financial officer, managing music licensing and billing for more than 3,500 Sonic Drive-In locations.

Beyond his business accomplishments, Kevin is deeply committed to community service, especially those that build young people in art and education. He has served on multiple Boards of Directors, including as President of Ballet San Angelo, SA Performing Arts Center, First Christian Church (where he also served on ministry committees), and, perhaps the most important job, as PTO President at his children's elementary school, where he made it a priority to walk them to class every single day. And because of his restaurant service knowledge, he's also well-versed at feeding hundreds of hungry teenagers weekly on Wednesday night church programs.
Kevin's heart for doing good is bigger than Texas, which makes him the perfect fit with Elena's creative sprirt.
